Rick's Roundabout June 2007

Page 1

Richard (Rick) Amos, 39 Years old, a roofer and Motorcycle Instructor's Instructor, was returning from a successful test pass with a pupil along Vandyke Road, Leighton Buzzard when a motorist pulled out, turned right across his path, then Stopped in the road.

Rick Died that day!

Rick left a widow, three sons, three brothers, his muvva and stepdad.

In court the case was dismissed!

The motorist didn't receive any penalties at all! No points, No fine, No ban, No retest, not even community work - NOTHING AT ALL

As we didn't get justice for Rick we would like to pay tribute to him and honour "The Happy One".

We hope that this helped promote road safety and create Public awareness to "Be Good to Bikers". As Rick would say "It's good for the Crack"
