Well, apologies for the delay in updates, but a new job has kept me rather busy over the last couple of months! First off, we wish you all the very best for the year ahead, and for the forthcoming riding season, keep it sticky side down y'all! Next up, I've updated the events section with a few rallies, will be adding more soon, any you'd like added, please eMail the ClubSec and they'll forward it on. Also up are the dates for our events this year, no further details on the Custom Show and GPO as yet, but the dates are there to 'pen' into your diaries! |

To whom this may concern, I would like it to be known, beyond all doubt, that Daniel Curry is not a member of the Barrel Bikers MCC, and is nothing to do with the Barrel Bikers MCC. This also means he is not, in any way, welcome at our events or any other events within the local biking community where we may be in attendance. If he is seen by one of our members at any event, we will make it known to the organisers of said event. The Barrel Bikers MCC does not condone, or wish to be associated with anyone who has been convicted of any sex crime, no matter what the circumstances. I hope this will put to rest any gossip or ill feeling towards the Barrel Bikers MCC, from other clubs and any member of the public who believes Daniel Curry is associated with the Barrel Bikers MCC. If anybody wishes to speak to me directly regarding the above please inbox me and I will contact you as soon as possible. I would also ask all Barrel Members to re-post this status. Yogi |

Graham's benefit gig: Went extremely well, BIG thankyou to all involved, it was an awesome night. We raised a great sum for Graham, and you could have heard a pin drop during the minutes silence for Manx Les. Manx Les' funeral: 18th November, service is at the crematorium at 3:30pm. There will be a bike run from the New Inn to escort the procession, Cliff and Jok are organising. Peanut is recovering at home and appreciates people calling/visiting. Yeoman is also recovering well and will be retired off to a new home. We wish them both well. |

It is with great sadness that I must report the loss of one of our members. Manx Les passed away from a heart attack early this morning, he will be missed by many. Our condolences go to his family and friends, RiP Manx Les. |

As some people may be aware, our club member Peanut and his guidedog Yeoman were involved in an accident at this years GPO rally. Peanut has a broken leg and is recovering well. Unfortunately Yeoman suffered nerve damage in his leg and had to have an amputation. The operation went well and he will now be retired to a suitable home. If anyone wishes to send Peanut a get well message please contact the club secretary. |
