| 4th - 6th | The Norsemen | 2010 Poker Run | This years Poker Run is different! We've a new route with new stops and best of all a new venue for the after party, which includes camping. We hope you can take part in the Poker Run during Saturday 5th, but if you can't we'd like you to bring your tents and join us for the evening party at Catsfield B2204 where there will be a bar, food, prize giving, live bands and camping from Friday 4th June. Poker Run is only £5 a go and camping is only £5 per person. Start your Poker Run anytime from 11 am at any of the 5 stops, where you can buy an entry form. Then proceed to every stop (in any order you like) and collect a playing card at each stop, the cards you pick will be noted on your entry form. Once you've collected your 5 cards, hand in your completed form by 5pm or 6pm if you make the Rally Site our last stop. | 19th - 21st | British Legion Rider's Branch | Ride 1000 Miles for Poppy Appeal | Bikers! Are you tough enough to ride 1000 miles in less than 24 hourse for the Poppy Appeal? Help support our veterans and their families, and gain entry to the elite Iron Butt Association. On the 19-21 June a group of riders, organised and supported by The Royal British Legion Rider's Branch and sponsored by White Dalton Motorcycle Solicitors will ride 1000 miles in less than 24 hours. We start from Squires Cafe near Leeds, and ride out to Cornwall or the Highlands of Scotland and then come all the way back again! All you need to do is raise £50 in sponsorship and pay the administration fee of £20 so the legion does not lose money organising the event (this also funds a nice little goody bag for entrants). Not only will you be raising funds for the Poppy Appeal but if successful you will gain entry to the Iron Butt Association. | 25th | Liam Dwyer | M25 Circle of Life | Hi my name is Liam Dwyer. Please give me two minutes of your time! I was a keen motor bike rider for 19 years. I am now looking for help through the power of the motor bike. On Sunday 25th July 2010 I am organising a motor bike ride on the M25 clock wise. The M25 is 117 miles in total. By doing this ride I hope to gain publicity for the MND Association. My intention is to start at 13.00hrs having motor bikes joining at 5 junctions all this information will be on the website below. The only thing that I ask is for bikers to wear a tabard with the Motor Neurone Disease Association logo on it so we can create awareness for this deadly disease which I have myself. For people who don't know anything about this disease it's a neurological condition which attacks all your bodily functions. A staggering five people in the UK alone die a Day from this disease. I was diagnosed in September 2005 and at that time I was given just 18 months to live. I call myself lucky because the form I have is giving me longer but I still don't know how long I have. This is the furthest in advance I have organised anything. As long as I can get it off the ground I will have achieved what I set out to do. This year I built a disabled website to help others with useful information which I have learnt over the past four years.
